Lauren London is honoring her late partner, Nipsey Hussle, with a touching post on what would have been his 38th birthday.

It has been four years since the famous California hip-hop rapper’s passing, and the actress continues to hold his memories dear in her heart. The late rapper is survived by his daughter Emani Asghedom, whom he welcomed with ex-partner Tanisha Foster and his son, Kross Asghedom, with London.

Lauren London Sends Sweet Message To Her Late Partner, Nipsey Hussle

Just five months after London reflected on Hussle’s passing on the fourth anniversary of his death; she is taking another unique moment to remember him on his posthumous 38th birthday.

The “Games People Play” actress shared a short but sweet message on her Instagram account to celebrate the occasion. “Honoring the day you blessed the Earth with your presence. Forevermore 💙 🏁. I love you,” London wrote.

The heartfelt post enclosed a snap of the “Hussle & Motivate” artist rocking a white Puma jacket. Supportive blue heart emojis filled the comment section from Hollywood stars like Big Sean, Lala Anthony, Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Rowland, Loni Love, Karrueche, and Yara Shahidi.

One other follower praised, “You are a true testament to the power of love and having a true soulmate. Thank you for carrying on his marathon and teaching the masses about Nipsey’s story and legacy. You are vital. 💙.” Another user wrote, “Eternal Salute to the King! Glorious Spiritual Solar Return! 💙 🎉.”

In the aftermath of Hussle’s tragic death, the “ATL” actress singlehandedly raises their child and her 13-year-old son Kameron Carter, whom she shares with rapper Lil Wayne.

Earlier this year, during London’s press runs for her Netflix film “You People,” starring Jonah Hill, Eddie Murphy, and Nia Long, she exclusively shared details about her life as a single mom.

She said on the podcast that I’m a single mom, so I want to be very realistic with them. Life is tough; I don’t want to cushion everything for them. I want them to be prepared for life,” she says candidly on the podcast.

The 38-year-old actress explained that she bounces between two modes as a mom. In her words, “I think I’m a balance because sometimes I think I may be going too soft, but I have times where I’m like, ‘Hey, hey, hey, you all, come on now. Let’s get this together.’ I think I’m an old-school mother.”

The mother of two spoke about focusing on the good things in life when she said, “My kids are healthy, they are happy, and I am healthy. I’m here. I have an opportunity to make it a good day. And so I would have to say that every day. I intend to make the best out of what I have. I don’t wanna ask God for too much.”

Man Convicted Of Killing Nipsey Hussle Sentenced To Decades In Prison

Following the death of the beloved father of two, Eric Holder Jr. was found guilty of first-degree murder in July 2022. The deceased rapper and his shooter were once affiliated with the same gang, the Rollin’ 60s.

But ultimately, Hussle evolved into a well-known opponent of gun violence and a prominent figure in his neighborhood. The Blast reported that a Los Angeles courtroom sentenced Holder to 60 years to life in prison in February of this year.

The convict attended his sentencing dressed in the usual orange jail attire and remained stoic as they read his sentence. He was also convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter brought on by his causing two bystanders harm when he attacked Hussle.

Per the publication, a friend of the late rapper gave an emotional speech, and the courts read a letter from Holder’s father before Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke handed down the sentence.

Holder’s attorney, Aaron Jansen, had pushed for a reduced conviction, arguing that the shooting should only carry a sentence of either manslaughter or second-degree murder. But, in the end, the judge did not budge as he delivered a verdict to uphold the initial charges.
